This past week the QUALITY family had a chance to go to Las Vegas to attend AGENDA and PROJECT trade shows. The 3 day shows bring in nearly 60,000 people representing all types of brands. The point? Connecting brands and retailers face to face to view product and place future orders. This year did not disappoint. The sheer size of these convention centers and amount of brands showing product can be overwhelming at first.
We spent our first day at AGENDA exploring the booths and meeting with brands. Some highlights include Joefeshgoods Don't Be Mad at wholesale installation. AGENDA Happy hour was a experience. A mixer with free food and drinks during the middle of the day. Vibes provided by Stretch Armstrong and DJ Clark Kent. Side note Clark Kent had on the new jordan infrared 6.
Day two we went to PROJECT. Each brand built personalized spaces with curated product. Champion and Levi both had large detailed build-outs.Champion featured a free customization station with embroidery. Levi's space was lined with 500 pairs of raw 501 denim. We also sat in on a panel discussion on what we can learn from the resale market with the co-founder of Grailed, Jake Metzger and others.
We also got the chance to see some crazy art from David Choe, Warhol, Murakami and Dali. Top that off with good food and free drinks we were feeling ourselves. although we lost all of our money gambling we did make it to the airport for the flight home. We live to see another year and look forward to sharing the evolution of Quality with you.
